Boeing Brazil is seeking **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager**, reporting to the Senior engineering manager, working out of the **São José Dos Campos** office

The **Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager** will lead high-performing engineering team (Structures Design and Stress) providing a variety of technical solutions and complex project oversight in support of existing and future products of Boeing Global Services - Commercial Modifications and Conversions.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering and Design.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
- Manages, develops and motivates employees.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering with degrees in Aeronautical, Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Experience in Engineering design and/or analysis.
- Experience working with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Fluent in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

- Experience leading or managing technical teams.
- Experience with product integrity and in-service safety, and/or mission assurance.
- Experience with Boeing Mods, Conversions and Interiors.
- Knowledge of Boeing's organizations, processes, program plans, policies and procedures, and products required to effectively perform functional responsibilities of the occupation.
- Knowledge of ANAC/FAA/EASA Regulations
- Experience in leading, coaching and developing others (including those who are not your direct reports).
