**ABOUT THE TEAM**:
VTEX's Legal Team is composed by high efficiency professionals who tackle legal issues throughout the globe for all VTEX Group Companies, including Brazil, LATAM, Europe, and US. Its routine involves handling with a wide range of legal areas, such as Corporate Affairs, Labor, Litigation, Intellectual Property, M&A, Contracts and Data Privacy, according to each individual work group.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
As a Legal Intern, you will be in contact with different teams inside VTEX and will have the opportunity to provide outside-the-box legal solutions and be part of all Tech Legal Team challenges and routines.
- Participate and engage in corporate strategy on a global level, so fluent English is a must-have (and Spanish will be considered a bonus)
- Provide in-house assistance in a wide variety of legal fields, such as Corporate Affairs, Intellectual Property, Labor, and Litigation.
- Research about relevant legal issues in Brazil, LATAM, Europe and US.
- Coordinate in-house work with external law firms.
- Support in administrative/legal tasks.
- Management of judicial and extrajudicial procedures and notifications
- Assist in legal due diligence
- Conduct various legal projects and other duties as assigned.

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- You must be based in Rio de Janeiro city and have availability to attend to the office once or twice a week;
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Law in a Brazilian university (from 7th to 9th semester) - previous experience in law firms will be considered a bonus;
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English - speaking and writing (Spanish will be considered a bonus);
- Collaborative and proactive;
- Attention to detail and sense of quality;
- Organization and self-motivation to work in an environment with great autonomy and opportunities;
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Suite.
