FX Middle-Office AVP

Who we are looking for

A FX Middle Office AVP for Global Markets Brazil, who will be responsible for the oversight of the trading flow (capture, monitoring, controls, Front-to-back intraday reconciliations) of Treasury and FX products traded in the local branch, aligned with global policies and procedures. In addition, he/she will support the Trading Desk in cash management related activities (BRL forecasts, PnL calculations) and produce daily managerial dashboards (volumes - amount & financials)

What you will be responsible for

As a FX Middle-Office AVP you will be responsible for
- Daily oversight of trading flow - local Treasury (Fixed Income) and FX products
- Define and run UAT tests (User Acceptance Test) for fixes, new system’s functionalities, new products
- Managerial Reports to SSGM
- Receive trade-related inquiries from the Trading Desk, SSGM Middle-Office & Client, research, resolve, respond to appropriate party, address follow up queries. Co-ordination between Front Office and Back Office & Clients. Ad hoc reporting.
- Monitor trade execution details as instructed by client or front office where requirements are outside the scope of the standard process.
- Run intraday reports to ensure trading activities are aligned with business close of books. Escalate and ensure timely resolution of errors / out trades.
- Support Internal/External Audits and Internal Committees
- Manage and formalize internal controls

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Brazilian financial products
- More than 10 years of experience in Treasury & FX Operations/Middke-Office
- Fluent in English
