Materials Planner Analyst

**Job Description Summary**: Coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also within departments) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Perform inventory analysis and manage KPIs (Days of Inventory);
- Analyze and execute MRP suggestions;
- Analyze coverage of both local and imported direct materials portfolio;
- Issue purchase orders and send to suppliers;
- Integrate operations with Comex team (freight forwarders, brokers and local support teams);
- Carry out follow-up of material delivery and cargo tracking;
- Manage communication flow with internal customers;
- Develop performance report;
- Ensure update of material parameters in MRP;
- Analyze item consumption according to BOM;
- Leading initiatives to reduce inventory;
- Leading initiatives to reduce logístical costs;

**Required Qualifications**
- Degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade or Engineering;
- This position requires intermediary experience in materials planning and logistics;
- Foreign trade experience;
- Required knowledge/experience with MRP analysis;
- MS office: intermediary/advanced level.
- Advanced English level;
