Tax Reporting and Digitalization Specialist

Country/Region: ES- City: Lisbon- Company: EDP RENOVÁVEIS S.A.The Record to Report (R2R) of EDP GBS, whose mission is to ensure the operation of the economic and financial activities supporting the EDP Group's activity, namely: i) the management of financial master data, ii) accounting, including accounting consolidation; iii) taxation, and iv) operational treasury management, including external and internal debt management, payments and receipts, bank management and cash forecasting, is looking to recruit for the Tax area.

**What you will do**:

- Tax Digitalization:

- Collaborate with the design and implementation of internal tools that allow the automation of mechanic compliance tax functions and/or improve the tax controlling environment at EDP Group;
- Prepare and design reporting models to help the local teams and provide management with useful tax information on a regular basis;
- Prepare and design templates to help the team to calculate taxes in a more automatic way;
- Developing RPAs to help the tax team avoiding recurrent duties;
- Help the local teams to develop solutions to increase the efficiency of the Tax function.
- Tax Reporting and tax accounting:

- Secure accurate and timely tax reporting to relevant stakeholders (e.g., EDP management, EDP' stakeholders, tax authorities, etc.);
- Collaboration with the coordination of tax reporting processes of EDP;
- Supporting local teams on the individual quarterly closings and validating the tax accounting figures;
- Preparation of the Tax information for EDP and EDPR Annual Accounts.
- Provide tax inputs for financial models in the context of M&A transactions, budgeting processes, tax forecasting, etc.

**What are we looking for**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, accounting, or tax degree with some data analytics experience;
- 1-5 years of relevant experience in digitalizing processes is a plus;
- IT Skills:

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Power Query knowledge is a Plus);
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Automate / UiPath;
- Well-rounded SAP.
- Other Skills:

- Power Query.
- Hands-on, open, creative and keen to work in a team;
- Finance / tax skills;
- Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills;
- Innovative, self-motivated and detailed-oriented;
- Sound organizational skills and process driven mentally;
- Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and multiple countries.
