Microcomputing Technician

MISSION
To ensure the correct operation of the systems' user environment (PC and peripheral) in the organizational unit.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS

Provide information and provide technical support to users (PC and peripheral environment) and resolve system incidents.

Solve the problems stemming from the installation and the use of the hardware and software.

Administer security of the micro computing environment, following the guidelines set by Ficosa.

Administer the computing material purchases based on the guidelines established by Ficosa.

Validate compatibility between HW and SW, as well as its adaptation to the standards established by Ficosa.

Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto.

Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OHSE and Quality department.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

**Academic background**:
Professional training in computing

**Languages**:
Fluent in local language & Basic English

**Experience**:
Minimum of 1 years in a similar position

**Additional training**:
Knowledge of network management, routers or communications would be of additional value
