Project Cost Administrator

Sibelco is a global material solutions company. We mine, process and sell industrial minerals at locations worldwide, focused primarily on silica, clays, feldspathics and olivine. Role Purpose:
This is a central role to support the team on the Spruce Pine Expansion project which includes verifying that goods and services were provided as per approved purchase orders and entering the goods receipts into SAP for the finance team to process the payments.

**Responsibilities**:
- Project Budget - Assisting the Director of Project Controls with maintaining the detailed bottom-up project cost estimate and budget while liaising with finance on budget transfers and cost reallocation.- Reporting - Providing accurate cost information, i.e. budget, actuals (including accruals), commitments, and forecasts for the project monthly report and ensuring full alignment between project and finance view on project cost (alignment between SAP, Our Investments and Power BI).- Cost Control - Ensuring the correct set up of accounts and cost centres for the project and comparing actual expenditures against budget/latest project plan.- Purchasing Goods and Service - Verifying goods received (after quality inspection by the area project manager) and issues the “Goods Receipt” on SAP, for Finance to process payment.

About you:
- 5+ years’ experience in cost control in a project execution environment preferred.- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint preferred.- Previous experience working with SAP preferred.
