Procurement Purchase Analyst

**Role Description**:
Will evaluate vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and speed of delivery. Decision-making and communication skills are extremely important in this job. Assessing the various possibilities correctly could help the company financially or allow for products or services to be delivered in a timely manner.
**Here's What You'll do**:

- Determining supply needs and researching potential suppliers.
- Acting as a liaison and communicating pricing and performance needs to vendors and suppliers.
- Sourcing suppliers and testing product samples.
- Documenting the features and benefits of products and services.
- Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by managers.
- Negotiating favorable procurement contracts with selected vendors and suppliers.
- Documenting processes and generating monthly supply cost reports.
- Monitoring the company's demand for products to avoid supply shortages.
- Keeping abreast of vendor and supplier-related activities in the industry.

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Proven work experience as a Procurement Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with purchase orders, processes, and procedures.
- Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets)
- Familiarity with supply chain analysis.
- Up to date with procurement norms and standards.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to present procurement data using detailed reports, and charts.
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, business administration, or accounting.
- English Required.
- At least 3 years' procurement analysis experience in a related industry.
- Proficiency in scientific procurement and analytical demands.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Relevant qualification in supply chain is a plus
- Relevant experience in scientific procurement orders is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
