5+ years of experience in digital advertising and client facing roles

Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers

Bachelors degree in Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Statistics, Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience

Work experience in digital media including display/search advertising, campaign optimization, analytics platforms, client management and business development.

Proven track record of delivering revenue results and significantly contributing to customer success

Strong interpersonal, collaboration skills with experience developing customer relationships and influencing key decision-makers

Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal)

Advanced analytics and business acumen. Ability to translate data into narratives that define, address and action business opportunities.

Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively, to succeed in a fast-paced, ever-changing business

Passion to learn constantly and proactively develop new skills

Located in or near an Amazon Advertising sales office, or able to relocate to one

Able to travel to customer office

Advanced Business Language Proficiency in English and Portuguese (verbal / written)

Job summary

We’re looking for a results-oriented Performance Account Manager who is passionate about partnering with our advertisers to make effective, analytically driven marketing decisions. As a Performance Account Manager, you will develop a set of high relevance, advertisers. You will deliver against challenging revenue targets while keeping customer experience front of mind. You nurture sustainable client relationships, identify and unlock revenue growth opportunities, and continuously develop your clients’ portfolios of products. You will leverage Amazon’s unique proprietary data to provide strategic insights and personalized campaign recommendations to meet your customer’s business objectives. To empower your client, you will liaise closely with several internal stakeholders, such as Creative, Sales, Product and Retail. The Performance Account Manager’s strategic digital expertise is considered mission critical to unlock incremental value for advertisers, as well as Amazon as their platform.

Key job responsibilities

Hit or exceed revenue targets for assigned book of business.

Achieve assigned non-revenue business objectives and goals.

Own all facets of the account management process for medium to large accounts, and develop strategic relationships with key points of contact.

Dive deep and develop annual brand and media strategies that map to customer objectives.

Compile first
- and third-party insights to build pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight campaign-level recommendations to optimize quantitative (BRL) and qualitative (CX) results.

Advocate for customers internally, and utilize internal resources, to drive customer success.

Educate advertisers on performance metrics, category trends/approaches, and consumer insights using existing and/or customized insights.

Display advertising sales/marketing experience

Search advertising experience

Programmatic advertising experience

Strong analytical experience

Salesforce proficiency
