You will start your day on a scrum call to prioritize and track work. Within the team you work on, you will choose user stories to work within a sprint cycle. You will spend most of your day developing and testing your code. Every three weeks, you will be involved in the release activities.

As a Senior Developer, you will work closely with your team to lead and guide projects to success. You'll have a hands-on role designing, developing, debugging, and deploying software solutions where you can leverage your expertise with code complexities. You'll also serve as a mentor to the junior developers. In the senior role, you will balance the assigning of user stories through prioritization and consideration of the technical interests of each developer on the team

**WHAT YOU'LL DO**:
**Here's what you can expect on a typical day**:

- **
Scrums.** We'll start each day with a scrum, working together to understand responsibilities, ID any issues, and communicate coding priorities.
- **
Coding.** Working in week sprints, you must keep up with timelines and good coding standards. Your primary responsibility is to deliver features on time.
- **
Continuou**s Learning**. We're always learning new approaches, and you are comfortable learning as you go to find solutions.
- **
Support.** You're working on products currently in use. You will act as a point of contact for one day/week, supporting your clients for any urgent issues that require resolution. You'll start those days with your regular work activity but will have to switch gears to a support role as needed throughout your assigned support day.
**TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE**:

- You'll have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related degree OR an equivalent in education and experience (a Master degree or an MBA in Computer Science will give you bonus points)
- You'll have to demonstrate leadership abilites and experience within the functional area
- You'll have 5-8 years of experience using Progress or similar programming language
- Prior experience that would give you extra comfort in the role includes:

- Machine learning packages with modern programming languages (preferable Python, R, Scala, Matlab) and frameworks (preferable TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit Learn, Numpy, Pandas)
- Foundation in underlying machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts
- Relational databases and SQL concepts
- Strong communication skills (Advanced proficiency or fluency in English will give you bonus points)
- Other programming languages as Java and Node.js
- Probabilistic programming and bayesian methods
- AWS Services (ECS2 and CloudWatch) and DevOps techonologies (Docker)
