Technical Program Manager, Google Kids and Families

**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with software development and the software development lifecycle.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple, simultaneous, complex technical projects.
- Ability to produce documents that convey strategy, status, scope, timelines, task planning, action items, risks, issues, project dependencies, test and rollout planning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead complex end-to-end programs that enable our partner teams to create the best experiences for kids.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide technical direction, influence processes, and manage competing priorities.
- Interface with cross-functional stakeholders, Engineering, Product and Program Management, Analysts, Product Marketing Management, and Legal, to coordinate launches, communicate progress/status, identify and manage risks, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Lead the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of product plans and processes for existing and new features. Adjust plans as business strategy and/or product roadmap change.
