Project Analyst

Our team in Brazil is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Project Analyst (Piping) to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the in Belo Horizonte office.

**About the role**:

- Prepare technical project documentation, including piping layouts, isometric drawings, material take-offs (MTO), bill of materials (BOM), P&IDs, pipe supports, engineering calculations, and technical reports.
- Ensure that all developed documentation complies with the standards, procedures, and codes adopted by the company.
- Support the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems.
- Assist the engineer in performing flexibility analyses (using Caesar II), and in the design of pumps, compressors, and general utility systems.

**About you**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems.
- Experience with projects in mining, oil & gas, chemical, or petrochemical plants.
- Knowledge in preparing technical documentation such as piping layouts, isometric drawings, MTOs, material lists, P&IDs, support drawings, engineering calculations, and technical reports.
- Ability to ensure that all project deliverables comply with applicable standards, procedures, and codes adopted by the company.
- Proficiency in 3D design platforms, including AutoCAD Plant 3D and SmartPlant.
- Familiarity with national and international standards such as AWS D1.1, ABNT, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII Div. I, II, III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23, etc.
- Intermediate level of English.
