Our team is looking for an** Information Security Officer** will be responsible for overseeing information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management programs in Brazil based on corporate security policies and specific local regulations.

**This roles is Hybrid, requiring presenciality to our offices in Sao Paulo.**

**Job duties and Responsibilities**:

- Serve as the first point of contact for information security and data privacy matters in Brazil.
- Adapt and maintain information security and data privacy policies and procedures according to country-specific requirements.
- Define and implement country-specific security controls aligned with corporate security standards.
- Identifiy local training needs and plan security training programs.
- Participate in investigations related to information security and data privacy violations and follow up on corrective and preventive measures that need to be implemented locally.
- Participate in the identification and assessment of information security and data privacy risks and develop mitigation measures.
- Participate in regular information security and data privacy audits to ensure compliance with the controls implemented and follow up on any corrections that must be implemented.
- Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- Understanding of general IT concepts and security solutions in particular for Cloud environments (CASB, SASE, CSPM, Zero Trust Network, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CSA, OWASP, etc.)
- Ability to stay current on information security and data privacy regulations, such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001 and LGPD, as well as information security and data privacy best practices.
- Ability to make quick and effective decisions under pressure and in crisis situations.
- Excellent research and analytical skills to identify and assess information security and data privacy risks.
- Experience working in medium to large IT environments with geographically distributed teams.
- Azure or AWS certifications are a plus.
- Computer engineer or similar.
