**You Can Look Forward To**:
Play a key role in the Trade Marketing area by leading the development and monitoring of annual trade plans. The role will work across the portfolio of brands from Jack Daniels Family of Brands to the Super Premium portfolio and will be responsible for Trade Marketing activities across all the channels ( On-Premise, Off-Premise, and Events ). Work closely with Marketing teams, Sales teams as well as distributor partners and agencies to ensure excellence in execution.
Support for control of budget, payments, and internal processes. Collaborate with all areas of B-F to ensure delivery of materials, notes, and contracts on time and in full (On time in Full - OTIF)
**What It’s Like to Work Here**:
- Leadership
- Co-lead the development of Trade Marketing plan for all JD FoB and Emerging Brands following BF Ways of Brand Building.
- Ownership of Trade Budget for BF Brazil (aprox. USD 1M)
- Monitor brand performance at all the channels with the sales team
- Have a key role in understanding consumer trends across multiple channels and how this could be applied across the portfolio to drive growth.
- Lead the Jack BBQ Meat Boutiques and BBQ joints Platform in Brazil
- Lead the planning and implementation of the Father´s Day and Christmas execution, providing the sales team with all needed tools for execution.
- Lead the development of POS material in collaboration with sales managers and coordinators
**Support Trade Management**:
- Translate key Brand Strategy & Initiatives into field sales priorities and customer/ channel plans
- Identify key customer & channel opportunities to build brand awareness, through brand advocacy, customer promotions, off location visibility.
- Develop incentive campaigns & evaluate post-campaign performance
- Manage & coordinate merchandising material and provision for sales/planning team implementation
- Build strong working relationships with the Sales Manager Off-Trade Direct, Sales Manager Off-Trade indirect, On-Premise Manager, distribution partners, and promotional agencies.
- Work with all levels of field sales staff to ensure that marketing plans and tactics are appropriate for field-based brand building activities
- Attend Marketing/ Sales & Distributor meetings where necessary to ensure key actions are followed up in a timely manner
- Develop guides and support materials for the perfect execution of brands at points of sale.
- Responsible for evaluating tailor-made opportunities, and also connecting them to brand strategies.
- Monitor competitors' activities and ensure that B-F maintains a superior presence and competitive advantage in the market;
- Lead with the purchasing area the production of materials that are necessary for commercial action: branded education materials, POS materials, etc.
- Responsible for material logistics. Control of sending, receiving, and implementation by the teams.
**Commercial and Sales**:
- Collaborate & Support the sales team providing all necessary tools to guarantee all activities/programs are implemented successfully within all channels.
- Be close with our sales team fostering an environment that exchanges information constantly in order to engage our Sales Executives and guarantee a flawless execution in the field
- Relentlessly look for new opportunities to increase JD FoB physical availability by brainstorming new ideas and testing them on the field
**Financial & Planning**:
- Be responsible for controlling the Trade budget by providing all necessary information monthly and being accountable for making sure all investments are being made as planned
- Actively control the payment/invoice flow in partnership with the finance team
- Identify, control, and inform the Finance team on all accruals on a monthly basis
- Control the flow of payment of invoices related to the activities of the brands as well as inputting notes in the system and guarantee the payment of them in the month of competence.
**Organizational Activities**:
- Provide timesheet data on time on a daily basis
- Complete all training provided by Brown-Forman on time
- Off-Premise and On-Premise visits on a monthly basis with and without Sales Team looking to get insights from the field
**We Are Looking For People Who**:
- Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Bachelor Degree (Advertising, Marketing, Business, Economics or Engineering)
- Experience: Bachelor's Degree (Advertising, Marketing, Business, Economics or Engineering)
- Previous experience in Trade Marketing or Marketing (Minimum of 3 years)
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
- Advanced English (must be comfortable writing and speaking)
- Data-oriented, Analytical, hands-on, organized, high curiosity, like to execute plans, true team player
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
**What You Can Add to the Team**:
- Experience: Previous experience in the FMCG industry
- Familiarity with all Nielsen and Neogrid tools
