Motorman (MTM) / Oiler

We are currently seeking a Motorman (MTM) / Oiler to join our team on board the Skandi Africa vessel. As a Motorman (MTM) / Oiler, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of machinery and equipment in the engine room.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, pumps, and other machinery in the engine room
- Monitor and operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and procedures
- Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo and supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the engine room
- Assist the engineering team in carrying out inspections and tests

**Requirements**:

- Rule III/5
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Motorman (MTM) / Oiler on board vessels
- Advanced English
- HUET and CAEbs
- Proficient in engine room operations and maintenance
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in the maritime industry
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
