Symplicity is seeking an Accessibility Consultant - Brazil, we empower higher education institutions around the world to enable the best possible outcomes for students. We engineer, operate, and support a suite of software-as-a-service products that serve thousands of universities and millions of students worldwide.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical support to Agile software development teams to implement modifications to digital products.
- Work with colleagues to refine accessibility testing and reporting templates, protocols, and tools.
- Contribute to research literature, practice guides, and instructional materials on accessibility and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or certification in a relevant technical area is desired. - No less than 1 - 3 years of relevant experience with Information Technology, preferably Assistive Technology.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.x Principles, Guidelines, Success Criteria, and Sufficient Techniques.
- Knowledge of Assistive Technology (AT), its performance, capability, baseline interoperability.
- Experience with WCAG Compliance test scripts and reporting of test results.
- Knowledge of Inspection/Testing tools. Able to demonstrate testing acumen to coordinate with AT Testers.
- Knowledge of accessibility techniques in web development utilizing Semantic HTML, WAI-ARIA, JavaScript and CSS.
- Soft skills, including effective Communication, teamwork, time management, willingness to learn, empathy, organization, analytical and critical think
- Strong written or verbal communication skills are the most significant requirement for this position. Fluency in spoken or written English is required.
