**About the role**

In this role you will collaborate with software engineers on technical design and implementation, as well as on developing test scenarios. You will be working with mobile devs to automate their testing and reduce the current testing efforts of the team. We have an immediate project for you to start on, which involves creating backend APIs to automate testing with a specific focus on mobile to reduce triplicating efforts across web, iOS, and Android. Decreasing development redundancy across platforms is a major aspect of this role.

We have already established a team of 10+ people in Brazil who do a variety of jobs remotely for RVezy. You will be paid in Canadian dollars. The work schedule has some flexibility. We encourage you to participate in our company Slack channels and other virtual events to really feel apart of the team

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer with a focus on automation
- 10+ years overall software experience
- C# /.Net /.Net core 2.1 - 6.0 and Vue.js
- Writing and debugging SQL queries / Investigating data with SQL server
- Server-side software, REST APIs, scalability, performance, and reliability
- Code Coverage tools
- AWS ( S3, ECS, Lambda, etc )
- Web automation framework Selenium
- Postman experience
- REST API creation
- SQL server experience
- Worked within a Scrum framework, enabled with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence

**Nice-to-haves**
- Experience working with a two-sided marketplace.
- E-commerce or SAAS experience.
- Appium / Mobile testing experience
- Experience with Nunit or Specflow.
- Client-side web development — NodeJS, VueJS, Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Log monitoring with Azure Application Insights.
- Infrastructure as Code — Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure ARM templates.
