Rentcars is looking for an **Information Technology Manager **to join our team and help us expand globally and improve the technology information area.
You´ll be working closely with the product lead, tech leads, developers and stakeholders to enable sustainable and timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs.
**Here's what this role is all about**:
- Implement engineering best-practices and lead tech teams to develop technical strategy to guide short and long-term plans;
- Be involved and collaborate with other leaders in the continuous improvement of an agile and learning organization;
- Ensure quality in design and code review practice;
- Provide technical design and/or understanding of the work being delivered;
- Communicate timeline impacts if any to Program and Project Management team(s);
- Able to understand delivered solutions and speak towards functionality and impact analysis of delivered artefacts;
- Build, lead and serve an effective team of engineers/devs through hiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and career development;
**A perfect match would have**:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
- Experience in planning, designing, developing and delivering software;
- Experience as a Tech People Manager;
- Hands-on experience with design and development of scalable web services and systems;
- Knowledge in programming, OO and Service Oriented Architecture;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in software development;
- Customer relationship management;
- Strong software and system delivery skills;
- Strong familiarity with source code management systems;
- Experienced in Continuous Integration, Configuration Management, Agile and interative processes;
- Language Skills: Portuguese, English;
