Cloud Platform Solutions Architect

**Summary**

GreenLake Cloud Platform is an internally developed innovative cloud-stack that powers HPE’s Cloud Solutions. The GreenLake Cloud Platform is a unified operational experience that provides a simplified view and access to all cloud services, spanning the entire HPE portfolio, with single sign-on access, security, compliance, elasticity, and data protection. The GreenLake Cloud Platform is the foundation to a rich set of cloud services in networking, data services, high performance computing and compute operations management.

**What you'll do**:
We are looking for a Technical Marketing Engineer to promote and increase customer adoption of Help drive the future technical product direction.
- Be a technical consultant on customer calls and meetings.
- Work closely with the field, key Systems Integrators, Engineering, and HPE Technology Partners in an Agile environment.
- Work with automation or cloud software to enable next generation designs and architectures.
- Develop automated methods to optimize our customer's user experience. Build messaging about key customer challenges and benefits of HPE solutions based on use cases.
- Build Documents and Presentations with technical details for the products, technologies, and solutions.

Travel and deliver training to customers, partners, sales teams both domestically and internationally at events and customer locations.

**What you’ll need**:
**Education and Experience Required**:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred.
- 8+ years of work experience in related field
- Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Required - Demonstrated experience in a Technical Marketing Role focused on Cloud Platforms and capabilities
- Required - Demonstrated experience building a cloud scale platform documentation
- Required - Hands on experience with one of the large cloud providers developing the capabilities listed above will be a huge plus.
- Extensive team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.
- Extensive skills in understanding complex and ambiguous customer requirements and translating those into documented solutions
- Extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
- Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.

**What we’d prefer you bring**:

- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experienced with one of the large cloud providers developing the capabilities listed above
- Having extensive team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects
- Having extensive business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection
- Demonstrating technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, discussion, and organizational skills
- Excellent in verbal and written communication and presentation skills
