Group Trucks Purchasing (GTP) is the global group function covering the purchase of automotive products and parts including aftermarket, for Volvo Group Truck brands.
We are looking for a **Tires Buyer**, in **Curitiba**, **Brazil**, to work on our Chassis and Vehicle Dynamics area in LATAM.
We are a group of highly dedicated and skilled people, we contribute to segment strategies and we are active members of the global network of commodity buyers responsible for selecting the right suppliers, and continuously secure the best supplier QDCFTSR performance (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability and Risk Management).

**Your mission**
You will be leading the purchasing activities on your scope with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the customers maximum satisfaction. You will be negotiating QDCFTSR of the supplier base under your segments. You will perform purchasing activities related to sourcing, contracts, ordering, cost improvement, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers.
You will be responsible to make sure the segment strategy is updated / implemented through the selection of the right suppliers, and by continuously challenging supplier QDCFTSR performance by using tools and purchasing/cross functional network during production and after production for Revenue segments.

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Business, Engineering or related field
- Experience in Purchasing and/or negotiation in a supplier/customer relationship
- Strong negotiation skills / Cost management /Financial analytics abilities
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Motivated by change management and ability to drive change
- Positive attitude, service minded and target oriented approach
- Strong team player with the ability to lead
- Ability to be open minded, to encourage collaboration and to add value with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Multicultural experience is an asset
