The position involves ensuring effective financial control over projects and operations, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost allocation, and cash flow planning, while also supporting OPEX and CAPEX processes, audits, and regulatory compliance in alignment with BW Energy’s control frameworks.
- Encompasses delivering standard, timely, consistent, and robust project /operations controls as per BWE´s Control frameworks in Brazil.
- Preparation of annual budget, quarterly forecasts, for the projects assigned.
- Provide monthly reports with variance explanations for actual versus budget, as well as actual versus previous forecast and cash disbursement.
- Assist operations for preparing the OPEX and CAPEX AFE’s, ensuring proper approval and ad-hoc monitoring.
- Responsible for settling WBS according to the project/operation structure, communicate and maintenance, when requested.
- Control of the time writing process in the system to issue the proper cost allocation.
- Support Cash flow preparation, working closely with other finance colleagues.
- Supports the Finance and Accounting team in miscellaneous projects, ad-hoc business needs, monthly closing, and audits.
- Bank system approver (one of the authorized signatories on all local banks) and ensure authorization procedures follow the corporate guidelines.
- Support government agencies regarding business relevant and mandatory data.

**Requirements**:
**Education**
- Qualified in business, economy, finance or with experience in the field of cost control such as accounting, forecasting and budgeting.

**Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Working experience in oil & gas (E&P) and cross-border.

**Knowledge**
- E&P Project Control.
- General finance knowledge (Accounting, Forecasting, Financial Planning).
- Solid Microsoft Office skills. Experience in IFS would be an advantage.
- Financial Planning tools like Hyperion Planning, Cognos, and others.
- Advantage English (oral and written)
