**ABOUT THE JOB**:
The Product Owner is responsible for leading the development team in the creation of games, from ideation through prototyping, launch, and scaling. The Product Owner will help define product goals and oversee the daily execution of tasks that drive towards these goals.

This role also acts as an HR partner, promoting company values, setting delivery metrics, and using KPIs to evaluate production.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- **Backlog Management**:

- Create and maintain the product backlog.
- Prioritize features, bug fixes, and technical debt.
- **Requirement Definition**:

- Write user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure the development team understands the requirements.
- **Sprint Planning**:

- Participate in sprint planning meetings.
- Ensure the team’s work aligns with the product vision.
- **Iteration Review**:

- Review and accept completed work during sprint reviews.
- Gather feedback from stakeholders and users.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the development team to clarify requirements.
- Act as a bridge between the technical team and other stakeholders.

**MAIN CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ACTIVITIES**:

- Define product goals and create the roadmap and backlog.
- Organize and prioritize the development team’s tasks.
- Monitor the daily production of tasks by the team.
- Configure the product in app stores, including packaging elements, LiveOps events, and in-app products.
- Work with the product team to monitor game ratings and reviews in the store, identifying potential problems or opportunities.
- Track engagement and monetization metrics, identifying improvements and issues.
- Ensure objectives are always aligned with all stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to ensure that optimizations, improvements, and new features have the most significant impact on the product.
- Ensure the team meets deadlines by removing obstacles and providing necessary resources.

**MUST HAVE**:

- Experience with digital products, preferably apps or games.
- Advanced knowledge of MVP.
- Proficient in English and Portuguese.
- Strong knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Analytical and strategic mindset.
- Ability to receive feedback and iterate constantly.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to estimate and meet deadlines agreed upon with the team.
- Excellent team communication, willingness to learn and teach.
- Creative and quick problem-solving skills.
- Proactive attitude and strong sense of ownership and leadership.

**NICE TO HAVE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, game design, project management, economics, mathematics, computer science, or related technical fields.
- Experience with app development, preferably games.
- Familiarity with game design principles.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with Notion, Slack, and Google G Suite.
- Experience in the video games industry is a plus.
- A passion for video games.
