The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.

About the role

We are looking for Security Officers to work with one of our esteemed clients onsite locations spread across Melbourne. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Conducting foot patrols ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure- Escorting people around the site- Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required- Directing and helping people to navigate around the site- Writing reports in response to incidents- Communicating calmly and clearly with key stakeholders

Skills & experience- Certificate II in Security Operations- Working with children check- Valid Security Licence- Customer centric approach- Proven ability to remain alert while being focused on task- Flexibility and adaptability
