**ABOUT THE TEAM**

SAP Datasphere is a comprehensive data service built on SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) that enables every data professional to deliver seamless and scalable access to mission-critical business data. It is the next generation of SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, with new capabilities that enhance data discovery, modeling, and distribution. With a unified experience for data integration, data cataloging, semantic modeling, data warehousing, data federation, and data virtualization, SAP Datasphere enables data professionals to easily distribute authoritative business data - with business context and logic preserved - across the data landscape.

**THE ROLE**

As the Cloud Development, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our Data Integration Services. You will work with technical leads and management of the Cloud Infrastructure/Observability team. As a developer you will help to maintain and improve the provisioning, deployment, and orchestration steps needed to run our services for thousands of customers all over the world.

**ROLE REQUIREMENTS**

As a Cloud Development for the Datasphere Brazil development team in the SAP Product & Engineering unit, you should bring a hands-on attitude, passion for agile Cloud development, and knowledge in DevOps principles and technologies. Being a team player working with multiple development teams all over the world will be essential for the success of your team.

**What you will do**
- Establish and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure early detection and rapid resolution of issues.
- Architect multi-region and multi-zone deployments to guarantee service resilience and fault tolerance.
- Contribute for development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment speed and reliability.
- Implement proactive troubleshooting measures.
- Propose and participate of the implementation of security best practices within the infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Resolve critical outages, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely recovery.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions to prevent future incidents.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Golang, Python, Groovy, Java, shell script and JavaScript
- Container technologies: Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud integration and deployment on AWS, GCP or Azure
- Experience with building CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, Argo
- Experience with implementing and managing observability tools for monitoring, logging, and tracing (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Jaeger)
- Understanding of distributed tracing and metrics collection to ensure system reliability and performance optimization
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system issues using observability best practice

**Work Experience**
- Relevant experience in Cloud Infrastructure Development role, DevOps, or a related field
- Understanding about DevOps methodologies and principles
- Hands-on experience with Microservice Delivery processes and technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
