**About The Role**:
The Global Benefits Manager will be a key member of our Operations team and will report directly to the VP of Operations and Strategy. This person will work as a lead to our global benefits programs, its initiatives, and projects which are core to our ability to attract and retain amazing talent.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Drive the strategic evolution and execution of our global benefits programs to ensure we’re offering top-of-market benefits plans to our employees.
- Design and recommend global benefits programs by assessing MetaMap’s needs, reviewing competitor and general industry practices, and analyzing cost impact/effectiveness.
- Maintain MetaMap’s benefits philosophy of globally consistent and locally relevant.
- Oversee the creation of policies and procedures to ensure global compliance and the achievement of equitable and competitive benefits.
- Support benefit rollout as MetaMap grows into new international markets.
- Establish and measure key benefits program metrics.
- Regularly benchmark company programs and monitor external trends in order to proactively adjust company plans and programs to ensure market competitiveness.
- Partner with People and Talent orgs, and other stakeholders to build and communicate benefit programs.

**Skills & Experience**:

- 6+ years of experience in global benefits planning and administration.
- Experience designing benefits programs in several South American countries.
- Experience in a high-growth, international technology company.
- Experience with successfully scaling a global benefits function to support the company’s business goals and growth, with a strong awareness of compliance requirements as well as best practices in multiple markets.
- Experience administering benefits plans, especially troubleshooting enrollment data processes, and answering advanced employee questions.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make recommendations and decisions.
- Ability to effectively execute multiple projects through completion on time, within budget, and manage prioritization in a rapidly changing environment.
