As a Pickup Operations lead you will be in charge of relationships and operations with private transportation providers, to ensure best-in-class pickup (1st mile) services on a Door to Door based network, that connects several sellers to millions of buyers, in a B/C2C high complex network, as well, taking responsibility for Drop Off Points, ensuring standardisation and high-quality levels, all country, through auditing operations, checking capacity, as well technological integration aspects.

Your team will be required to identify gaps/pain points/risks by visiting providers periodically, also, working close to internal customers to identify in-advance, problems such as lack of capacity, throughput, missed connections between nodes, et cetera.

You will also participate as a key user and sponsor of our pickup and drop off points network expansion.

You should be able to develop innovative solutions and manage our door to door pickup network, by taking advantage of large data set manipulation in order to identify and predict issues, and also identify opportunities to improve buyers' and sellers' experience, delivering results while managing multiple priorities.

You will lead remote people across different regions in Brazil, guiding them through KPIs and problem-solving.

You should be humble and flexible to balance between tactical and strategic work, which requires strong analytical and communication skills, high intellectual curiosity to learn new concepts and methodologies and the ability to adapt and thrive in the fast-paced, high change environment.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, training and develop multicultural team across different countries
- Ensure standardization and operational excellence among different providers
- Develop and execute transportation strategy for cost, speed, operational excellence and risk avoidance
- Manage in a daily/hour basis several KPIs and quick identify trends and solve issue in-advance
- Develop and implement tools/analysis to identify root cause and problem
- Find and implement opportunities to improve the logistics experience, as well, ensure cost effectiveness
- Lead operative innovation, by leading ideation spaces to identify opportunities to improve service level
- Build strong relations with suppliers and internal partners to identify and unblock bottlenecks, downstream and upstream transportation networks
- Prepare and participate recurrent Ops calls, business reviews, QBRs, Customer Service workshops (to support the improvement plans)

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree (completed) in Engineering, Logistics, Business Management
- High ability to pull data from numerous databases and to perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed, mainly through SQL
- Develop predective metrics to assist with driving business results - Must be able to systematically escalate problems or variance in the information and data to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered
- Strong communication and writing skills necessary to build effective working relationships and positively influence decision making
- Strong business acumen
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple competing projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive project deliverables
- Prior experience in the transportation for e-commerce
- Prior experience with transportation management or routing and planning systems
- Strong background troubleshooting operational issues
- Strong communication, both verbal and written as you will be required to convey updates on issues, operational status and business drivers during daily/weekly and leadership reviews.
- Proven analytical ability to use data to manage metrics, drive improvements, and implement business cases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Prior experience with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Willing to travel
- English is mandatory. Spanish nice to have
