The Senior Accountant uses experienced professional accountant knowledge to resolve diverse accounting matters. Performs monthly accounting close activities related to revenue.

**What you´ll be doing**
- Review contracts with customers for revenue accounting treatment and draft accounting memos and writeups in accordance with ASC 606
- Performs accounting analysis and prepares and posts journal entries related to bad debt, sales allowance and other revenue related accounts
- Performs flux analysis
- Prepares account reconciliations for revenue related GL accounts, investigates and resolves variances where necessary
- Executes SOX controls and ensures SOX compliance at all time
- Prepares PBC (Provided/prepared by Client) and interacts with auditors
- Responsible for preparing ASC 606 disclosures needed for Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting
- Analyze revenue data and prepare ASC 606 related adjustments on a quarterly basis
- Prepares month end management reporting package including changes in revenue reserves and other revenue accounting matters
- Partners with FP&A and Commercial Solutions to advise accounting treatment and financial impact on large and complex revenue transactions
- As needed, may complete assigned tasks in project work
- Has an experienced understanding and applies general accounting principals when accounting for transactions
**What you should have**
- Accounting experience, public accounting experience preferred
- Prior experience in revenue accounting is a plus
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Experience with Oracle R12, Hyperion and RevPro revenue management tool is a plus
- MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint) skills are required
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting and/or equivalent experience
- Fluent in English, Spanish preferred
