**Position Summary**

The Assistant Scientist RMC will be responsible to lead global and regional chemical raw material projects for marketed products in the Consumer Health portfolio, ensuring business continuity through science, by handling alternate materials qualifications, supplier changes implementation and providing plant support to solve materials issues from internal/external manufacturing plants under restricted timelines. This individual will coordinate and execute technical aspects of projects, report metrics, elaborate technical documentation, propose simplification and improvements, and interact with cross-functional teams and suppliers regionally and globally to implement projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the implementation of chemical raw material qualification considering the impact to business
- Resolve issues related to chemical raw materials
- Coordinate low and medium complexity projects with cross-functional teams
- Participate in multi-functional teams to investigate technical problems and implement solutions
- Understand and write technical documentation and participate in technical discussions involving chemical raw materials
- Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline and simplify procedures, documentation and systems
- Lead, with flexibility and prioritization skills, changes throughout the implementation of projects, according to new alignments or business needs
- Communicate effectively with different areas, regionally and globally
- Work as a team and with sense of urgency to meet the expected dates, meeting the needs of the business

**Qualifications**
- Education: minimum of Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemistry Engineering or related areas is required. Graduated degree or specialization in cosmetology will be considered a differential
- Advanced English
- Intermediate Spanish or Portuguese
- Experience in Research & Development or related areas of Cosmetic Industry or Raw Material Industry is desirable
- Experience in implementing technical projects or in site issues support to manufacturing/production area are a differential
- Intellectual curiosity, good communication, sense of urgency and prioritization mindset, influencing skills and teamwork
- Write clearly and informatively. Build technical documents that are complete and accurate
