**About the role**

Reporting into the QA Lead, the manual tester will work within a supportive, fast-paced team who value and support each other. We are seeking a curious and proactive individual who is outspoken and an eye for best practice. While this is a predominantly manual role, there is exposure to automation testing. This role focuses on;
- Developing and updating documentation and materials that assist end users to use ICT technology and services.
- Assisting other testers, business analysts and solution architects with analysis and documentation.
- Identify and triage defects to ensure testing is completed in an efficient and effective fashion
- Identify and implement tests that are suitable for automation testing
- Assist the Business to undertake User Acceptance Testing and Showcase
- Liaise with the Business Analyst during requirement and design review sessions

This is a contract role for an initial 3-6 month term with intent to extend.

**About you**
- Relevant experience in previous testing roles (eccomerce/retail is a bonus)
- Previous experience in conducting functional and system testing
- Demonstrated skills in identifying, troubleshooting, explaining and recording defects
- Experience testing cloud deployed software (AWS, Azure)
- Previous exposure to agile project methodologies
- Working knowledge of testing tools like Confluence/Jira, Test Rail, etc.
- Experience in automation testing using tools ie Selenium, Cucumber, Watir+Ruby, etc.
- Experience using tools such as Postman, SOAPUI
- Demonstrated experience in API/Micro services testing
- Proactive in identifying and discussing improvements to current processes.
- Good understanding of complex system integration testing
