**Job Description**:
Our Global Engineering role is responsible for driving delivery excellence within the respective regional Connected Service delivery teams. This role requires a strong collaborative spirit to ensure all regional teams are working cohesively and driving towards a common goal of aligning their methodology to enable a consistent and quality customer experience. Role will focus on integration of remote engineering teams (GEC), implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) processes and associated global adoption of common practices and tools. Cultivating key internal relationships will be critical for success.
- Demonstrate ability to drive exemplary collaboration across multiple regionally diverse groups
- Exhibit strong mentoring skills to foster the growth of critical competencies across multiple teams
- Lead teams to implement and adopt common practices required to facilitate a consistent global project execution and quality customer experience
- Facilitate the development of remote team (GEC) enablement and expand their integration into the overall delivery work efforts - define and implement holistic solution ownership by the remote team (GEC)
- Facilitate creation and adoption of our Quality Management System (QMS) and standards across peer regional delivery teams
- Demonstrate capacity to embrace productivity improvements fed from the Security, Quality, Delivery, Cost (SQDC) self-evaluation process and leverage these to improve regional, remote and adjacent team executions.
- Exhibit forward thinking, proactive problem anticipation, and problem resolution capabilities to aid in achievement of strategic goals
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
- Be flexible to adapt working schedule to accommodate global regions availability
- Hold bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technology driven degree with 10+ years of experience.
- Be self starter that shows an extensive background in effective collaboration between multiple diverse, highly technical teams
- Have strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate geographically dispersed teams
- Have previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations.
- Have strong acumen in the respective delivery space.
- Show extensive design and implementation experience in the respective service area, preferred to be in a Manufacturing / Operations Technology (OT) space
- Have relevant certifications are an added benefit e.g.: PMP, TUV, Cisco, VMWare, etc
