Moving Associate

The moving associate is responsible to provide support in the operational process of moving services, and will communicate with SIRVA’s moving consultant, clients and suppliers.

Functions and Responsibilities
- Support to domestic and international moving processes
- Documents checking
- Translation of packing list, and importation and exportation statements (DSI and DSE)
- Elaboration of bill of landing (BL) and Air Waybill (AWB)
- Contact with the shipment companies in order to book ships for the loads
- Requesting of payments and purchases orders
- Communication in English, Spanish and Portuguese with suppliers and clients
- Communication with IPHAN to get authorization for the services
- Responsible to keep the internal system updated

Qualifications and Preferred Skills
- Intermediate level of English - must read and write well
- Spanish language is desired

Education and Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in international relations or foreign trade - in course
