At the Product Safety Residue Laboratory we implement analytical methodologies, complying with a solid quality system of Good Practice of Laboratory (GLP).

Our goal is to generate high quality results of agrochemical residues in several kinds of vegetal matrices after receiving treatment in the field. These results may be used for different purposes as dietary and environmental assessments, which is a benefit for society to have safe food on our tables

**YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO**:

- Assist Study Directors to compile GLP data in a Final Report, manage dates, spreadsheets and projects;
- Responsible for conducting GLP residue analysis performed in the Residues Analytical Lab (extraction, clean up, quantitation and generation of raw data), according to the annual planning;- Keep organized the Laboratory following the GLP specifics requirements;- Work in collaboration with Study Directors, Principal Investigators, Field Team and Seed and Sample Management to ensure that studies are conducted in accordance with deadline;
- Follow the Standard Operational Procedures and support SPOs review whenever it is needed;
- Ensure that the procedures specified in the Study Plan are followed and document the impact of any deviations (unforeseen occurrences or inadvertent errors) from the Study Plan with quality and integrity, taking the appropriate deviations from Standard Operating Procedures;
- Ensure that all analytical data are registered properly keeping the traceability;
- Keep safety the Raw Data in the Laboratory assuring data integrity and that they will be transferred in a timely way to the Study Director or to the Laboratory Manager;
- Development and validate analytical of analytical methods for plant protection products and their metabolites in different plant matrices;
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in the domain of Residue analysis;
- Responsibility of GLP equipment, reference item, test system, reagents / solvents and Lab material;
- Following Bayer’s internal rules of safety, health and environment;
- **This is a determined position ( 12 mouths until 24 ).**

**ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?**

Must have skills:

- Bachelor´s Degree in Chemist / Chemical Engineer or similar;
- Experience in analytical chemistry and laboratory activities;
- Desirable experience in area of pesticide residues;
- Knowledge in GLP guidelines - INMETRO, OECD guidelines and ANVISA RDC4 (Guideline Residue Study);
- Advanced knowledge in English and Portuguese;
- Capacity to develop and implement analytical methods;
- Fundamental skills: good capacity of communication and partnership / collaboration;
- Competences: self-development; drive results; collaborate; instill trust;
