**About the role**

**In this role, you will**:

- Lead the design and development of high-quality software solutions using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
- Oversee the implementation of REST Web Services to ensure seamless integration and communication between systems
- Provide technical expertise in Core Java to optimize performance and enhance functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development including code reviews and testing protocols
- Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to improve existing systems
- Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for efficient database management and data retrieval
- Mentor and guide junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
- Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Contribute to the strategic planning of technology initiatives aligning them with company goals
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Evaluate and recommend tools and technologies that enhance productivity and streamline processes

**Work model**:Hybrid

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo - SP. **What you need to have to be considered**
- Demonstrate proficiency in REST Web Services crucial for effective system integration
- Have solid experience in PL/SQL necessary for efficient database operations
- Show familiarity with Cards & Payments domain beneficial for understanding industry-specific requirements
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills vital for addressing technical challenges
- Display strong communication abilities important for collaborating with diverse teams
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning essential for staying updated with technological advancements.
