Ready to join us? **About this opportunity** **To support our growth and expansion plans in LATAM, especially in Brazil, as an Accounting Analyst will be responsible for the entire Itero and Invisalign Finance Operations in Brazil and in the near future for some foreign entities in LATAM. The main responsibility is ensure that all accounting treatments related to monthly transactions are in accordance with BR GAAP standards. This position will also contribute with monthly reconciliations and other month-end activities. This position will be responsible for reviewing the detailed balance sheet and income statement of Brazil entity providing performance indicators and supporting business decisions related to the businesses. The individual will be responsible for statutory requirements (including tax). The role will report directly to the Sr. Accounting Supervisor. This position will be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.** **In this role, you will** - Primary responsibility to ensure that all accounting treatments related to monthly transactions are in accordance with BR GAAP standards. - Prepare the monthly reconciliations for BR GAAP purposes. - Support the consistency and accuracy of month end close for Brazil entity. - Must identify accounting issues and lead resolution, working with another areas, as needed. - Day-to-day relationship within the areas of accounting, payroll and taxes and correlated areas. - Take ownership of internal financial controls and compliance as well as Accounting Treatment changes and statutory (BR GAAP) reporting. - Act on preparation of monthly financial statements. - For quarterly reviews/annual audit, preparation and submission of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement Quarterly Flux analysis - Support the leadership team providing reports, analysis, and explanations. - Possess the understanding of general accounting concepts and requirements and has the ability to identify accounting issues and assist in their resolution. - Elaborate, review and update local general accounting policies and procedures, as necessary. - Participate on finance related projects; particularly those relate to ERP/systems transitions (for example, Protheus to SAP). **In this role, you’ll need ** - Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting in BPO or multinational entities. - BS degree in accounting. - Familiarity and user experience with Protheus and/or SAP is desirable. - Ability to written, oral and communication skills to work with management and cross-functional groups. - Intermediary English level is a must; - Problem solver, system oriented and strong analytical skill. - Detailed-oriented with effective organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work with several individuals and cross-functional projects; - Ability to work independently and be results oriented. **Sound like a good fit?** Great Click the "Apply" link to let us know you are interested.
