This role is part of the A2R Americas Finance team responsible for Inventory and COGS, Local Fixed Assets and Intercompany and Local Travel & Expense (T&E) Administration A2R duties in Brazil.

**Key Responsibilities**

Core responsibilities include:

- Responsible for complete and accurate accounting for all Inventory, Distribution, Costing and Other Costs Not in Standard (OCNIS). This includes but is not limited to managing Inventory & Distribution costs, which includes focusing on reserves, revaluations, and adjustments (e.g., Stock counts adjustments) partnering closely with Supply Chain colleaguesResponsible for Local Fixed Assets Accounting to ensure complete and accurate accounting for all tangible and intangible fixed assets process flows and standardization of the process to follow global taxonomy
- Responsible for Local Intercompany process flows for stock and non-stock transactions and standardization of the process to follow global taxonomy
- Responsible for overseeing Local Travel and Expense Administration and standardization of the process to follow global taxonomy
- Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements
- Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope
- Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas
- Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities
- Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy
- Internally recruit, mentor, and drive the individual Process SMEs to ensure cross sector, cross region, and cross process alignment, ensuring good documentation is maintained and consistency of a global approach
- Influence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing them in line with global standards

Compliance
- Support auditors and legal authorities with the execution of required activities
- Understand, adhere to, and execute worldwide policies and procedures. Identify compliance risks and recommend solutions to remediate / prevent breach
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place, to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings

Leadership and People Management
- Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse Credo-based team
- Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team
- Ensure effective performance management within team
- Lead Accounting team of 6+

Travel
- Up to 10-20% international travel

**Qualifications**
- A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance
- CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are preferred

Languages:

- Fluent English, other language skills desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Experience and Skills Required:

- At least 4 years of professional experience is required
- At least 2 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
- Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation or BPO
- Experience in a Global Account to Report function of a large multi-state company
- Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
- Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized
