**What´s the role?**
As an Associate Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for leading compliance and ethics programs and initiatives in the market as it relates to business operations, company policies, and applicable laws and regulations.

**How can you add value?**
Essential Duties and Responsibilities, include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Assist with handling anti-corruption, sanction and export controls, privacy and other compliance and ethics controls, training and initiatives.
- Advise on current and emerging risks and advancement of key matters and issues related to our anti-corruption, sanctions and export control and other compliance and ethics programs.
- Responsible for the development of corporate policies, procedures and programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, procedures and policies.
- Supervise Paralegal with the handling of various types of legal requests such as Subpoenas and Court Orders.
- Assist with compliance program related to the Letters of Agreement with the federal government and various privacy and telecommunications related regulations and laws.
- Ensure that all activities of the organization stay in sync with the rules and regulations governing the industry in which they operate.
- Participate in learning opportunities to keep current in industry regulations.
- Demonstrate and ensures compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, with all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and with Liberty safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications:
**What do you need?**
**Education and/or Experience**:
- Juris Doctor is required. Corporate, regulatory and/or in-house legal experience preferred.
- Five to eight years of experience working with functional divisions of a global business such as finance, human resources, marketing, business development, supply chain, engineering, and other operational functions.
- In-depth knowledge and experience with developing and implementing programs and processes for global, publicly traded companies.
- Solid experience integrating controls into business imperatives, goals, and compliance risks, and using those drivers to identify appropriate compliance strategies to facilitate business objectives while mitigating legal risks.
**Other Qualifications**:
- Strong project management skills, including managing and prioritizing multiple concurrent projects, mapping budget and resource curves, and reporting progress and risks to colleagues and senior management.
- Experience performing action plans to remediate issues identified in risk assessments and in investigations.
- Experience developing and implementing programs for effectively handling third party relationships to include due diligence processes, contracting processes, financial and audit controls, and training.
- Excellent analytical skills, coupled with general business understanding and the ability to proactively identify new opportunities, building organizational dedication to act on these.
- Excellent communicator and good (virtual) team builder with strong customer focus. Ability to work independently and take decisions as and when required.
- Strong ability and inclination to collaborate with co-workers with high levels of Integrity and open to challenges.
- Technical, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced dynamic work environment with efficient prioritization, client interaction, responsiveness and focus (especially during periods of sustained pressure and often under tight deadlines).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build links with staff, external partners and suppliers.
- High standards of ethics and confidentiality to handle sensitive information.
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English) and Advanced skills in MS Office (Excel / Access / PP etc.)
