**Role Overview**
You will work with multiple stakeholders within SEO and across other teams to support initiatives. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality work while meeting aggressive production goals. As a member of the SEO team, you will stay informed on the latest techniques for maximizing SEO value within articles, helping us stay ahead of the curve
**What you do each day**:
- Create engaging content that is optimized for search engines, and supports the larger SEO objectives.
- Support the SEO content manager in topic development, content brief creation, and content editing.
- Collaborate with other SEO team members to help produce content for page expansion, SEO optimization, and link-building initiatives.
- Document and maintain the status of project progress and completed work.
- Create and monitor performance benchmarks
**Qualifications**:
- 2+ years of experience in SEO content writing or a related field
- Impeccable use of grammar, punctuation, and spelling
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Creative and strategic thinking skills
- Understanding of SEO principles and best practices
- Experience in keyword research tools and analytics platforms (i.e., SEMRush, GA4, Search Console)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

- Strong editorial judgment and research skills to identify knowledge gaps and fill them with meaningful, expert-backed insights
- Familiarity with EEAT principles and how to incorporate trust-building elements
- Ability to execute on tasks and navigate challenges with mínimal direction
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
- Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication skills across cross-functional teams
- Data-driven decision-making approach with a passion for always improving
- Background in reporting and interviewing
- Familiarity with optimizing content for generative AI engines to enhance visibility in AI-powered search experiences
- Interest in experimenting with new search formats and staying ahead of content discovery trends
