**Skills and Competencies**
- At least 2+ years of experience in Structured Finance or, 3-4 years in credit analysis in similar fields;
- Validated and well-developed analytical and modelling skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities in Portuguese and English. Some Spanish skills would be a plus;
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are mandatory. Python programming & Visual Basic for Applications knowledge would be a plus.

**Education**
- Minimum bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in economics, business administration, statistics, accounting, engineering or similar;

**Responsibilities**
- Analyze new Structured Finance transactions to assign ratings, and review ratings of existing transactions;
- Analyze transaction documents to understand transaction structure and legal, operational, and counterparty risks;
- Analyze characteristics of underlying portfolio and performance history to derive loss assumptions;
- Lead virtual and in-person meetings with originators, advisors and other transaction participants as part of the rating analysis process;
- Present credits efficiently and accurately in rating committees and other internal analytical meetings, formulate a coherent credit rationale and present this rationale in a persuasive fashion
- Communicate rating rationales to investors and other market participants through rating reports, presentations and meetings;
- Assist in producing timely and relevant research on specific issuers or sector related issues that is in-depth, high quality, informative and focused;
- Assist in rating methodology, model and scorecard updates;
- Build and manage relationships with investors, advisors, and issuers.
