The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization is leading the effort to create the desired customer experience through support offer creation, driving digital transformation across our tools, and delivering operational excellence across CE&S.

We are looking to hire hands-on cloud engineers to join our diverse, talented, high performance, and innovative Customer Architecture and Engineering (CAE) within the Digital Application and Innovation solution area. The position is deeply technical and highly solution focused with unique opportunities to work on the most challenging and exciting projects within Microsoft, as well as providing an opportunity to drive feedback into core Microsoft products to help improve our platforms.

This role is flexible in that you can work up to 100% from home.

**Responsibilities**:
A Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) within the Azure Customer Architecture & Engineering team focused on Digital Application & Innovation will be responsible for:

- Curate and produce high quality guidance for our internal and external communities and customers.
- Providing a positive impact to the strategic direction of Microsoft Cloud engineering teams
- Mentorship and development of technical delivery personnel within the Customer Success organization
- Executing limited POCs and Pilots
- Documenting and sharing technical best practices / insights within engineering and the wider architect community.

**Qualifications**:
Required (Two or more of the following):

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience?
- Experience of developing reusable solution artifacts.
- Extensive industry software engineering experience with Programming languages such as C#, Java, GO, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Ruby, Rust.
- Architecting and developing intelligent apps utilizing AI.
- Experience with source code management using Git or other source control technologies such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, Atlassian or others.
- Business level fluency to read, write and speak English.
- Business level fluency to read, write and speak Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with running microservices and container-based workloads in production.
- Experience with architectural patterns and anti-patterns for resiliency and geo-availability.
