**What you will do**:
**Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Operations**:
- Manage all aspects of the company’s finance / accounting department in Brazil.
- Ensure the proper functioning of all financial management processes, accounting
systems, databases, and software (ERP, CRM, others).
- Lead and manage the local month-end financial close process, constantly reviewing
procedures while eliminating inefficiencies.
- Proficiency in IFRS financial reporting, preparing necessary accounting adjustments
under IFRS as necessary for both the local financial audit as well as the consolidated
global audit.
- Lead and manage the local financial Audits for Brazil, on a timely and efficient basis.
- Manage the weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process.
Review financial reports for accuracy, including cash flow reports, aging reports,
accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales reports, and others as necessary to
ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Full oversight of treasury and cash management functions, including management of
AR, AP, working capital needs, capex, and cash flow, as well as all payroll activities.

and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX).
- Work with the CFO and broader finance team in enhancing and implementing
financial and accounting systems, billing systems, processes, procedures, and internal
controls.
**Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)**:
- Full ownership of Budgeting process. Working closely with the Country Manager,
CFO, and cross-functionally to ensure each department’s budget is prepared and
integrated into the consolidated budget.
- Develop and maintain an annual, monthly, and rolling 12-month (and long-term)
operating Budget, P&L, and cashflow forecast.
- Help manage and build the local FP&A functions.
- Work with the CFO and Country Manager in managing the monthly, quarterly, and
annual FP&A processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, and
forecasting. Prepare sensitivity analyses as needed for strategic planning.
- Work closely with the CFO in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial
reports, Software as a Service (SaaS) KPI’s, and related dashboards.
- Develop financial reporting dashboards to track financial performance metrics, KPIs
and OKR’s and monitor business performance.
**Tax, Legal, and Localization**:
- Work closely with tax advisors in the preparation and timely filing of all local taxes.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws, working closely with human resources to ensure
payroll, labor obligations reserves, severance, and other local requirements are in
compliance.
**Administrative, Facilities**:
- Manage team responsible for Purchasing, office maintenance (equipment,
infrastructure, supplies)
**Compliance and Legal**:
- Financial and Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting
principles, and company policies to avoid legal and financial risks.
**Experience/Professional Skills**:
- Fluent in Portuguese and English. Spanish is a plus.
- More than 10 years of proven financial management experience. Experience as a Finance
Manager / Finance Senior Manager / Controller, or relevant role (preferably in a
multinational high-growth company).
- Strong technical accounting skills, controllership, treasury, financial reporting,
budgeting, taxes, and FP&A.
- Comprehensive experience with accounting standards under GAAP, IAS, and IFRS.
- Knowledge and experience with various financial reporting systems (SAP, Oracle
NetSuite, and others), as well as FP&A software. Experience and knowledge of Salesforce
a plus.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and analytical skills. Ability to communicate
concisely with senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Bachelor 's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; MBA or CPA
preferred but not required. Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm a plus.
