**EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS**
- The Agile Consultant works as a Scrum Master and is responsible for promoting and supporting Agile by helping the teams understand agile theory, practices, and values.
- Is a 'servant-leader' for the Product Owner and the Development Team: removes impediments on team-level and shields the team from interferences.
- Helps teams to evolve to high performing, self-organized agile teams.
- Facilitates all Scrum events and ensures the Scrum framework is followed
- Teaches the Agile Team in agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
- Encourages continuous improvement
- Is responsible for the visibility of team commitments and progress through use of metrics
- Promotes collaboration and interactions within the team
- Is familiar with Agile Software Engineering Practices
- Work within a global team

**EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES**
- Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
- Fluent in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Customer interaction skills, ability to prioritize work and manage expectations from several stakeholders, along with negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, open minded, resourceful, agile and pragmatic.
- Ability to proactively resolve problems focusing on teamwork, results, and people.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge in two or more agile methodologies
- Knowledge on agile program and portfolio management is a plus
**WORK EXPERIENCE**
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Background in Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience in working on large development or implementation projects is a plus
- Experience with cloud native solutions is a plus.
