**Technical Operations**

Technical Operations is the maintenance, repair and overhaul division of United. The department includes aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams and more.

**Job overview and responsibilities**
- Organizes all maintenance activities on an aircraft, including but not limited to repair, adjustments, replacement and/or troubleshooting.
- Possess good leadership skills.
- Assists license and non-licensed technicians as required.
- Required to exercise AWR responsibility.
- Communicates effectively with TOMC, STATION MANAGEMENT and other divisions and departments.
- Able to process information and put together action plans to correct deficiencies.
- Oversee completion of all forms and reports required to handle the aircraft maintenance activities
- Availability to work on rotating shifts

**This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded.**

**Qualifications**:
**Required**
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese (Speak, Write and Read)
- Good understanding of labor / safety / airport rules
- Must hold a valid Passport and U.S. Visa (Prescheduled US Consulate visit will be accepted)
- Must be on an international technician role
- FAA A&P "Airframe/Power plant" License required
- Good Communications Skills
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Must possess a valid local driver’s license
- Must be flexible to work ANY shift that is assigned to you within a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation which can include late nights, early hours, weekends, and holiday
- Must be legally authorized to work in Brazil any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

**Preferred**
- ANAC Mechanic’s License (preferred)
