A Tech-enabled property management and real estate investment company is looking for a talented **Senior Java Developer** who is passionate about a deep understanding of the product and focuses on the business value first to produce the best quality engineering solutions.

They're a leading tech property management firm, overseeing 18,000+ homes in 26 markets. The company’s expertise helps investors navigate buying, renovating, and managing single-family homes, offering a seamless experience. Their innovative platform blends real estate and tech, providing powerful tools for both residents and investors. They're transforming the way a new generation dreams, untethering their homes from investments.

**As **a Senior Java Developer**:

- You value teamwork and understand the importance of contribution (at some level) to all stages of a product (discovery, definition, implementation, and delivery) by collaborating directly with product engineers, product managers, designers, data analysts, and domain experts. While being primarily responsible for implementation, testing, rollout, and maintenance;
- You have strong experience with **Java** (Kotlin knowledge is a plus), distributed systems design (microservices), and relational databases;
- You understand **CI/CD** (experienced with B/G deployment), **Cloud **(AWS or similar), and Containerization approaches;
- You are open-minded, curious, emotionally mature, and humble. You’re passionate about helping others and keeping team goals above individual circumstances;
- You strive to learn by leveraging opportunities in the growth environment;
- You speak English fluently;
- You are an independent engineer (not a part of the agency) and able to work ~40 hours/week Monday-Friday;
- You're committed to being available until noon Pacific time zone (not particularly working - answering in Slack and participating in occasional meetings).
