**Position: Event Planner for the Reactor Program**

**Introduction**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a strategic event plan to drive engagement, collaboration, and support for developer initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively across various organizational levels, including senior leadership, vendors, partners, and the Reactor's global locations.
- Ensure smooth onsite operations for events, maintaining high standards of execution.
- Coordinate ongoing communication with internal and external partners, community organizers, vendors, and cross-functional teams for aligned and timely execution.
- Employ best practices for event booking and maintain accurate and detailed event data.
- Oversee and moderate online events, ensuring interactive and valuable virtual experiences.
- Handle logistics for in-person events, ensuring all aspects run smoothly and efficiently.
- Build and maintain internal and external relationships to collaborate on key initiatives and programs for enhanced impact.
- Manage and update the Reactor's social media channels to engage the community and promote events.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in event management, communications, business, or a related field preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in event management or project management with a proven track record of organizing and executing complex projects.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and with attention to detail.
- An audience-centric mindset, with a focus on engaging and understanding both internal groups and external audiences.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English, with exceptional communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders effectively.

**Desired Skills and Knowledge**:

- Familiarity with the tech industry and a genuine interest in technology and community building.
- Strong networking skills to foster relationships with partners, community leaders, and tech influencers.
- Experience with social media management and online community engagement.

**Tools Required**:

- Proficiency with event management software and tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for content scheduling and monitoring.
- Competency in project management software to keep track of timelines, budgets, and resources.
