- Overview- Subsea7 is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented **Tax Manager** to join our team in Brazil.- Reporting directly to the **Tax Director - South America and Africa**, this pivotal role will be instrumental in ensuring tax compliance, driving strategic tax planning, and supporting sustainable business growth across the region.**What will you be doing?**
- Lead all tax-related activities in Brazil, including direct and indirect taxes, transfer pricing, and tax reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with municipal, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimise the company’s tax position.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Provide expert tax guidance on contracts, new business initiatives, and cross-border transactions.
- Monitor and assess the impact of changes in tax legislation on business operations.
- Oversee timely and accurate preparation and submission of tax filings and audits.

**What experience would we like you to have?**-
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage.
- Proven experience in tax management, ideally within multinational corporations or Big Four firms.
- In-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
- Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong analytical mindset, leadership capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
