**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Structure the transactions’ teams that will act in the thesis construction and at the portfolio company after the investment (if applicable).
- Carry out the screening of subsectors/theses for new investments, together with the Investment Leader.
- Lead the search and analysis of potential targets for the investment platform and/or growth via acquisitions that adhere to the thesis.
- Guide the team on the development stages of the thesis/investment, identifying risks and opportunities in the construction of the transaction recommendation.
- Guide the negotiations with potential targets ensuring the alignment of interests between entrepreneurs and Patria.
- Engage potential entrepreneurs in the deal making, contributing to the generation of a solid bond of trust.
- Definition of the due diligence plan together with the CTO and Investment Leader, providing sectorial and transactions expertise.
- Act in a critical manner in the analyzes generated during the due diligence, evaluating the feasibility of closing the deals.
- Conduct the construction of contracts, facilitating the interaction between law firms, consultants, and entrepreneurs, with the CTO and Investment Leader support.
- Represent Patria at fairs and events in the sector, with a focus on the thesis divesting.
- Lead divestment activities throughout the portfolio companies' life cycle, generating a recommendation on timing and exit strategy, together with the Head Sector, Investment Leader, and Operating Partner.
- Participate in the Boards of Directors of portfolio companies, monitoring the company throughout its life cycle.
- Train and develop the technical and organizational skills of the team members, aligned with the Career Paths, respecting Patria’s and everyone’s needs
**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor degree completed
- At least 6 years of experience in corporate finance (including transactions) and 3 years of experience in business management (eg FP&A).
- Having already worked in a leadership position (eg BU leader) or experience leadership project (eg Operations, Commercial, Supply, Expansion, Management).
- Solid knowledge of FP&A and Project Management.
- Team leadership experience.
- High capacity for business analysis.
- Fluent in English
- Microsoft Office pack domain.
- Desirable MBA and Spanish.
