About the job:
Be the catalyst who creates opportunities, solves problems, and establishes working relationships with our financial services customers. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Application Platform focused Sales Specialist to join us in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In this role, you will lead the growth and development of Red Hat's solutions mainly for the financial services accounts. You'll discover and analyze our customers’ business and technical needs and collaborate with the sales, pre-sales and technical delivery teams to help customers invest wisely in the most appropriate solutions for the Red Hat Application Platform solutions. As a Sales Specialist, you'll need to have excellent communication and people skills, as you'll be a crucial part of the first in-depth experience our customers have with Red Hat. You will listen to financial sector customer business and technical challenges and suggest various solution paths customized to each customers’ unique circumstances. You will build solutions during the presales phase and prove their feasibility and value to the customers through demonstrations of and proofs of concepts for our offerings. You will exercise good judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions to take and you'll be responsible for effectively managing your time.
What you will do:
- Provide pre-sales technical and business support to the Brazil Sales team and build quality solution oriented technical proposals that will address financial services customer business problems
- Work with the Enterprise Sales Account teams to build account strategies and guide the implementation of the overall infrastructures strategy within the defined set of enterprise accounts
- Use your deep knowledge of our offerings to provide technical expertise to sales associates and customers through workshops, sales presentations, and demonstrations of our offerings across Red Hat’s solutions
- Communicate business value, progress, and status of sales opportunities to all stakeholders; share knowledge and findings to allow team members to learn from your successes and mistakes
- Ensure that revenue quota, deployment, and service objectives are met while maintaining a high level of satisfaction among prospective and existing customers
- Research and write responses to technical sections of requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposal (RFPs)
- Proactively participate in Red Hat’s internal communities of practice (CoPs) and lead internal knowledge sharing in the cloud Infrastructure portfolio
- Speak at events and technical forums to everyone from CIOs to user groups about Red Hat's technologies Learn about new technologies and how they can be applied to solve enterprise challenges
What you will bring:
- 7+ years of architecture experience with focus on Kubernetes, Software Development, enterprise virtualization, cloud, or datacenter infrastructure
- Record of working in a consulting setup with background in a strategic advisory capacity to senior IT and business executives
- Broad and deep technical experience with cloud solutions and architecture levels
- Great written and verbal communication skills in English
- Solutions sales mentality in an environment with multiple offerings and services
- Proven ability to work with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success on behalf of customers
- Good balance of strategic and tactical skills
- Front sales and quota carrying experience is considered a plus
