**About the Role**:

- Leads the integration of individual strategic priorities (SP) within the NOJV Brazil structure, coordinating various disciplines and functions (including Strategy, Commercial, Technical Innovation and others) in supporting the optimal performance in alignment with the overarching strategy for Brazil, working in a way that protects and enhances BHP’s reputation through excellent communications, stakeholder and risk management, consistent with the BHP internal standards
- Drives the monitoring and governance of the SP, actively seeking opportunities in conjunction with other areas for value creation, by setting program-wide strategies for standardization, replication and continuity
- Provide strategic and tactical guidance to the SP Owners regarding planning, performance, execution and continuous improvement
- Reports overview of programs performance to the Brazil Leadership Team.
- Performance- Works with BHP Brazil Directors and SP Owners on creating, implementing and executing common tools, strategies, management plans, methods, techniques and systems that maximise the performance of the programs
- Executes and implements principles, practices and routines, in line with BHP standards
- Supports SP Owners and teams in the routines related to management of the programs and reporting to senior leadership
- Works on the establishment, monitoring and review of annual and quarterly KPIs, including contributing to their continuous improvement in the quarterly routines
- Works proactively seeking the identification of performance deviation from plan, ensuring root causes are adequately managed, rectified and communicated
- Contributes to the identification and management of risks, communicating with the relevant stakeholders and identifying solutions
- Supports contract and financial management of the demands of the programs
- Integration- Engages stakeholders to ensure alignment of individual programs with the overarching Brasil objectives
- Supports Directors and SP Owners in the assimilation of insight from a variety of data sources to support decision making, including the subsequent updating of plans and schedules with the teams
- Participates in the development of initiatives (such as communications plans, financial analysis, stakeholder mapping) to ensure adequate delivery capability is in place in order to realise objectives
- Coordinates the implementation of value improvement practices, tools and processes
- Identifies and supports improvement initiatives, including opportunities for increased capital efficiency and productivity
- Facilitates and integrates lessons learned and best practices across programs
- Develops and maintains information systems including databases, spreadsheets and dashboards to inform performance and facilitate decision making
- Functional Excellence- Identifies and supports improvement initiatives, including opportunities for increased process efficiency and productivity
- Contributes to and collaborates with other members of the Brazil team on broader opportunities and initiatives

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline

Experience & Technical Competencies
- Project management experience, in positions including strategy, delivery, project controls and commercial, throughout all project lifecycle phases
- Understanding of project management disciplines, techniques and methodologies is required
- PMO experience is an advantage
- Experience in projects / operations in mining or related industry is an advantage

Languages- Fluency in English and Portuguese
