Mid-level Advisory Lawyer

About de Role

We are seeking a Mid-Level Lawyer with experience in litigation to join our legal team. This professional will primarily handle administrative proceedings from consumer protection agencies, such as PROCON and Consumidor.gov, while also supporting the management of judicial cases. In addition, the role includes internal advisory support, guiding different departments, identifying risks, and proposing solutions to prevent disputes.

**Responsibilities and Attributions** Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Support in managing the portfolio of judicial and administrative cases, including follow-up, reviewing legal documents, and participating in hearings.
- Handling and responding to official inquiries and requests from third parties (law enforcement).
- Risk assessment and development of strategies for conflict resolution.
- Liaising with external law firms, providing guidance and oversight.
- Providing legal advice to internal departments on litigation prevention and applicable legislation.
- Participating in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the legal secretariat, especially in managing deadlines and procedural updates.

**Requisites and Qualifications** Required Qualifications**:

- Law degree with active OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) registration.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven legal experience.
- Knowledge of Consumer Law, Civil Procedure, and other relevant litigation areas.
- Strong skills in legal writing and document review.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Advanced English, with the ability to communicate with global partners (written and spoken).
- Previous experience in an in-house legal department.
- Knowledge of Administrative Law and Intellectual Property.
- Experience with strategic and high-volume litigation.
- Understanding of regulations in emerging markets (e.g., fixed-odds betting and online gaming).
