**ISSET is seeking a Software Engineer for the role of Software Development Operations (SW DevOps). The role is defined as a remote job (full time work from home), and includes the following responsibilities:

- Configuration and execution of development, demo, test, lab, and production environments.
- Design and documentation of system installation and upgrade processes for our software solutions.
- Level 3 support for our software solutions, as requested by our Call Center organization responsible for level 1 and 2 support, during business hours only.
- Provide remote support to Motorola Solutions personnel performing installations and upgrades on-site.
- Development of tooling for support purposes.
- Creation of documentation for training third parties on level 1 and 2 support processes.
- Maintenance of the technical foundation of globally deployed servers for the implementation of our software solutions.
- Design and management of software licensing, including licensing reports.
- Evaluation of non-functional requirements and hardware design to meet those requirements.
- Support the presales engineering organization by answering technical queries regarding team solutions.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of software testing.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux (preferably RHEL), including usage, configuration, and implementation of production servers.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management tools.
- Experience in using and configuring Mongo and Postgres databases.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Experience in using configuration management tools (preferably Ansible)
- Familiarity with Docker and/or containers in general.
- Experience in setting up and configuring physical servers.
- Networking knowledge.
- Understanding of Security configurations.
- Fluency in English is essential, Spanish fluency is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- 5 or more years experience in similar roles
